Policies

As much as I don't like to define "policies", it's easier to have my policies laid out in writing so that both my students and I are on the same page as to our administrative expectations. Be forewarned, this stuff is pretty dry!

In Regards to Payment

  1. Payments are due in full at the time of services rendered.
  2. Any balance carried (owed to me) for more than 24 hours will be charged with a $5/hour late fee.
  3. Block Payments are recommended to encourage a positive balance of hours at all times.
  4. Payments are based on hourly services, calculated to the closest 1/4 hour.
  5. I do accept payment via PayPal but I charge an extra $1/hour to help offset the fees charged to me.

In Regards to Scheduling

  1. Scheduling is done on a first come, first serve basis. The best and most up-to-date listing of my availability is accessible via the Flight Schedule Link
  2. Scheduling slots should be selected based on the following timetable:
  3. Morning Slot Mid-day Slot Evening Slot
    7:30am - 10:30am 11:00am - 2:00pm 2:30pm - 5:30pm
  4. If a lesson is scheduled within 24 hours of the timeslot, students are requested to call to verify availability.

In Regards to Cancellation

  1. Cancellations due to extenuating circumstance (sick, emergency) or weather restrictions have no penalty
  2. Cancellations within 48 hours of a given timeslot will be charged half the reserved time period.
  3. Cancellations within 24 hours of a given timeslot will be charged the entire time period.

In Regards to Lesson Expectations

  1. Students are expected to do their best to show up on time to each lesson.
  2. Students are encouraged to complete all reccommended reading before each lesson.
